Francina died in 1880 and Ephraim remarried on 9 February 1886 to Elizabeth Kizer. It then appears that Ephraim dies in 1886, shortly after this marriage, and Elizabeth [Kizer] Van Vickle remarries to William H. Haley on 13 November 1887.

Van Vickle, b. 1864, Darke, Ohio; Rachel^9 Elizabeth Van Vickle, b. 20 February 1865, Darke Co., Ohio. She m. U.G. Kiser on 6 March 1886. (Florence (VanVickle) Johnson and Rachel (VanVickle) Kiser were both widowed and living with their brother, Robert, in Mississinawa Twp, OH at the time of the 1930 US Census.)
