Maria Van Wickley Vital records of the town of Schodack, Rensselaer County, NY prior to 1880 (LDS film 930244) lists birth of Elizabeth on 23 Nov 1788 to John Carr, Jr. and Maria Van Wickley

26Jun08 email from Joyce Carr states "Carr Cemetery is named after John Carr, the original nominee of Lot 11 on Concession 8 where it is located. John Carr married Maria Vanwicklin and arrived in Canada with his family in 1796 from New York. At the same time, Maria's parents, Paul Vanwicklin and Hendrickye Remsen, emigrated with them. All of the burials in this cemetery are descendants and partners of these two families [Carrs and Vanwicklins]."
